THOMASVILLE — The Thomasville Lady Bulldogs are set to hit the hardwood as they begin their season on November 17 in Bainbridge.

The Lady Bulldogs had a decent season last year, finishing with an overall record of 12-15. However, they finished a disappointing 4-6 in region play, landing them in fourth place. Thomasville went on to lose in the first round of the playoffs to Mary Persons.

The Lady Bulldogs main issue last season was scoring. Last year Thomasville often struggled to score more than 45 points and, at times, were held under 25. But, head coach Jeray Randall thinks that his team has improved this summer and will be a more efficient scoring group.

“We had a great summer that gave us the opportunity to get out and play more and I do see that the scoring is going to increase this year,” Randall said.

While Randall called on his entire team to be better this season, he mentioned Jabria Richardson and Rhaniya Wilson specifically as players he expects to step up for the Lady Bulldogs.

“I just expect more team play,” Randall said of his team. “Getting up and down the floor and just more execution.”

Thomasville will open their season at home on November 17 at 6:00 p.m. against the Bearcats.
