THOMASVILLE- The YMCA spin class hosted another spin competition class on Saturday, themed after the popular movie “Top Gun.” The class was split into two teams, and the team with the most miles at the end of class was the winner. The class also recognized Kristi Wilhelm as the individual with the most miles.

The class playlist included songs from “Top Gun” and “Top Gun Maverick.” YMCA spin instructors Lauren Radford and Melvin Hugans each led a team.

Radford said, “The competition class is a great way to burn calories and have fun doing it! We designed the class to be competitive but also fun!”

Several class participants said they had a great time. Class participants also said it was a challenging but rewarding workout, and that they enjoyed the camaraderie of being on a team.
