THOMASVILLE- Thomasville National Bank and Thomasville National Bank Financial Services employees recently partnered with Literacy for Thomas County to deliver dictionaries to students at Jerger Elementary School. The donation of dictionaries is part of TNB’s commitment to promoting literacy in the community.

“We understand the importance of literacy in a growing community,” said TNB Community Reinvestment Officer Melvin Hugans. “Our role is to help young children and the citizens in our community build a strong foundation for success. TNB is committed to supporting the community and working with community organizations!”

Literacy for Thomas County provided dictionaries to all third and fourth grade students at every school in the community. The dictionaries will help students expand their vocabulary and knowledge, and they will be a valuable resource for years to come. The partnership between TNB and Literacy for Thomas County is a great example of how businesses and non-profits can work together to make a difference in the community.
