TAKE A DETOUR: This map shows the areas that will be routed for a detour in the coming weeks.

THOMASVILLE- City of Thomasville Utility crews will be working on East Washington Street between North Dawson Street and North Love Street beginning May 15, 2023 to replace a wastewater main. The work will take approximately two weeks.

There will be a temporary road closure on East Washington Street between North Dawson Street and North Love Street and also on a portion of Young Street near East Washington Street while the wastewater improvement work is being completed. Detour signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to prepare for potential traffic delays. The road will remain open to local traffic.
