THOMASVILLE- First time parents Cheyenne and Noah Todd recently welcomed their baby boy and first baby of the New Year, Hollis Isaiah Todd into the world.
Hollis was born at John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital on January 3, weighing 9 lbs., 2 oz. and measuring 20 inches long.

Both Cheyenne and Noah were shocked to learn Hollis was the first baby of the year, especially since they weren’t sure they could even conceive at one point.
“We are super excited about being first time parents,” Cheyenne said. “We didn’t even think it was possible for a while, so we are really happy about that, and then it was a shock that he was the first baby born, because he was born on the 3rd, so it was crazy to hear that.”
Cheyenne shared she delivered Hollis via C-section, as she had gestational diabetes during her pregnancy and knew Hollis would be a bigger baby.
“He was even bigger than what they thought he would be,” she said.
While Hollis will always be remembered as the first baby of the year and his parent’s firstborn, his name will also always carry a special meaning.
Cheyenne explained his name (Hollis) was actually picked out by her father-in-law, while his middle name (Isaiah) came from the Bible.

Hollis is already adored by his parents and the staff at Archbold, but especially his cousin, who Cheyenne said has been FaceTiming every day to check in on baby Hollis.
Both parents said Hollis has been nothing but a blessing since he was born and while they were sleepless just due to nerves, they were excited to get him home, let him meet his cousin and begin their life as a family of three.
