Last Monday, Rose & Thom, a new boutique on East Pinetree Boulevard, opened their doors to the public for the first time as they began their soft opening.

Jenna Strickland, owner of Rose & Thom, said that alongside selling clothes, Rose & Thom offers services for custom items, such as mouse pads, and other custom apparel.

“We are a boutique and we also offer custom items such as car tags, mousepads, phone docks and custom apparel,” she said. “We’re going to do business marketing apparel, home decor, just a one-stop shop.”

Opening up Rose & Thom alongside her husband, Shannon, Strickland said that the business first began as an online venture that she operated on the side.

“So about 5 years ago I just had an online side hustle, where I did stuff in my home,” Strickland said. “Then a few months ago we decided that we wanted to take it a step further and so we decided to do it, we just jumped in.”

According to Strickland, the store offers a quick turnaround on custom orders and is intended to have a grand opening sometime next month after the first of the new year.

“After the first of the year, we’re going to have our grand opening,” she said. “I don’t have a date just yet.”

Running the store with the help of Erica Vealey, assistant store manager, and her family, Strickland said that getting everything ready for Thomasville locals was exciting.

“It’s exciting, we wanted to bring something different to Thomasville,” she said.

Rose & Thom is located at 2268 East Pine Boulevard and can be contacted at 229-236-7073.
