The 7th grade Lady Bulldogs dominated the Lady Rebels 53-5 in their home opener.

From tip-off, the Bulldogs set the tone and never looked back. Jayla Brooks came out very aggressive and looked for her shot early in the game.

Brooks made some defensive plays which led to her getting some points in transition for the Lady Bulldogs. Justyce Cole made her presence felt as well, because she had multiple steals leading to Lady Bulldogs’ points.

The Lady Rebels didn’t have a counter for the Thomasville defense, and the deficit kept getting worse for the Lady Rebels.

One of the biggest problems for the Lady Rebels was the turnovers. Due to the inability to protect the ball, Thomasville was up 15-0 going into the second quarter.

The Lady Bulldogs have improved their record to 1-0 and are looking forward to having a successful season.
