Smart Spot Learning and Play Center celebrates grand opening

- Latoya Crawford cut the ribbon at Smart Spot Learning and Play Center this past Friday afternoon, while surrounded by coworkers.
The Imagine Thomasville team recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Smart Spot Learning and Play Center on Friday, October 14th at noon. Smart Spot is located in the shopping center between Ollies and Chicken Salad Chick at 2585 East Pinetree Blvd. Thomasville, GA 31792
Smart Spot Learning and Play Center is an after-school program designed to help bridge the gap for kids in K-12 Education. The center provides after-school pick up, homework assistance, snacks, and tutoring! The after school program closes at 7:00 p.m., conveniently for working parents. The staff consists of certified teachers & paraprofessionals, ready to help children out with their needs.

Owner Latoya Crawford is a 20-year educator in the Thomas Co Schools System. She teaches 6th grade ELA and comes with a wealth of knowledge of assisting children in the education system. Crawford is a recent graduate of Thomas University with a Masters of Education in Curriculum & Instruction. Crawford is a former reporter of WCTV & hosts the Rose Parade on CNS occasion.
