On January 30, at approximately 11:30 a.m., the TPD began an investigation of a reported armed robbery at Kay’s Jewelers. TPD sought help from the community, asking for information that could develop into a reliable lead on the suspect.

Further investigation, and leads developed early in the investigation, helped detectives identify Reese as the suspect.

Reese was charged June 28 with 18 offenses, including multiple counts of armed robbery, aggravated assault, kidnapping, false imprisonment and possession of a firearm offenses.
