THOMASVILLE — Beginning July 11, City of Thomasville contractors will begin placing asphalt pavement along several streets where sewer main replacements occurred. A schedule of work is listed below: 

• Cecil Street – 10 days 
• Friar Tuck Lane – 5 days 
• Sherwood Drive – 5 days 
• West Loomis Street – 5 days 

There will be temporary lane closures while the work is underway; however, the roadways will remain open to local traffic. Travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to prepare for potential traffic delays.
