PAVO — The Pavo Civic Club hosted its 35th Annual Peacock Festival on Saturday, inviting attendees from the area and afar to enjoy a day of fun, peacocks and quilts. 

The festivities included a parade, a cake walk, door raffles, a slow pitch softball tournament, a OneBlood Big Red Bus for blood donations and various vendors selling food, drinks and an assortment of jewelries, candles and other things. 

A raffle for a homemade quilt was also held. The Peacock Quilt was awarded to Cathy Riddle. 

Music was provided by Winds of Change, a classic rock cover band from southern Georgia, and the JCS Cloggers and Hahira Cloggers were in attendance as well.
