THOMASVILLE — Thomasville police officers are investigating a report of shots fired early Friday morning at an apartment complex.

According to Thomasville Police Department incident reports, just before 1 a.m. Friday, five TPD officers responded to a shots fired report at Wood Valley Apartments. As officers were en route, they received word that a gunshot victim from Wood Valley had arrived at the hospital. 

Officers reported finding shell casings and vehicle damage in a parking lot between two of the apartment complex buildings. A vehicle that was struck by a bullet was impounded and towed to the Jail-Justice Center for security and processing, according to reports.
