Several Brookwood Warriors tennis players made deep runs at the GISA state individual tennis championships. 

Taylor Huffman made the AAA boys state semifinals with two wins, losing to the eventual state champion. The boys doubles team of John Rosell and Pearson Taylor fell in the state title match to a team from William and Reed Academy. 

Clark Carter and Will Kadel also reached the state semifinals, losing to the same William and Reed duo.

The girls doubles team of Camille Yarbrough and Riley Johnson reached the second round of the AAA state championships. 

The GISA team tournaments will be held later this week.
