Last three suspects in Green Street store shooting arrested

THOMASVILLE — The remaining three suspects in an April 3 shooting incident at a Green Street convenience store are in custody.

Arrests of Jermaryoun Pressley, Jerry Pressley and Trandis Wright Jr. were made Wednesday afternoon and evening.

Wright faces three charges of aggravated assault, eight counts of criminal street gang activity and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Jerry Pressley was charged with three counts of aggravated assault and six counts of criminal street gang activity. 

Jermaryoun Pressley has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault and nine counts of criminal street gang activity.

Marquis Sapp and Kemarion Tyler were arrested earlier and each charged with three counts of aggravated assault and with possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Sapp, arrested April 11, also faces eight counts of violating the Georgia Street Gang Terror Prevention Act. Tyler was arrested April 4.

Thomasville Police Department officers responded to a Green Street convenience store after officers heard gunshots in the area. Officers were in the area because of a large crowd of people and vehicles creating several disturbances, according to the TPD.

According to reports, a fight inside the store led to three people suffering gunshot wounds. The three victims were taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

TPD’s investigation revealed that multiple shots were fired into a crowd of people, some of whom were bystanders not involved in the original altercation.
