The Thomas County Central Lady Yellow Jackets are headed to the Class AAAA state basketball tournament.

The Lady Jackets downed Westover on the road Monday in a Region 1-AAAA tournament play-in game, holding off the Lady Patriots for a 39-33 win.

With the win, the Lady Jackets improved to 17-7 overall and will play Dougherty on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
