THS boys pick up first two wins of the season at Florida tourney

The Thomasville Bulldogs basketball team picked up two wins at the Florida Get Down Tournament over the weekend.
AJ Dent scored 19 points and the Bulldogs beat P.K. Yonge (Florida) 65-38.
Dijmon Wheeler and Tyson Anderson had 16 points each as the Bulldogs beat Lake Nona (Florida) 64-29 Saturday morning.
The girls basketball team began their season by going 1-1 in the Charles Cooper Invitational at Lowndes High School. The THS girls defeated Lanier County 63-17 for their first win of the season.
Thomasville will host Thomas County Central on Saturday evening, with the girls game beginning at 6 p.m.
Thomasville is off after that until December 10 when the Bulldogs host Bainbridge. Bainbridge swept the girls and boys games in the season openers on November 20.
