The state Department of Public Health reports there have been 6,069 COVID-19 positive tests in Thomas County, with 163 deaths. There also have been 543 people hospitalized because of the novel coronavirus since the inception of the outbreak. 

Thomas County has recorded 15 new cases in the last two weeks, according to the state DPH. 

The state DPH has recorded 2,432 COVID-19 cases in Grady County, with 67 deaths and 239 hospitalizations attributed to the virus. The county has added 21 new cases in the last two weeks. 

Statewide, there have been more than 1.27 million confirmed positive tests for COVID-19, leading to 25,591 deaths and more than 88,800 hospitalizations.

More than 12.9 million people have been tested for COVID-19 in the state, with a rate of 10.1% for positive results. 

Statewide, there have been 10,737 new COVID-19 cases in the last two weeks. 

The state has issued more than 12 million vaccinations, and 51% of all Georgia residents, more than 5.28 million people, have been fully vaccinated.

Thomasville City Schools reported that as of November 19, there were four COVID-19 positive students out of 2,788 enrolled. There were 17 students identified as contacts due to school exposure, and three identified as a contact due to exposure outside of school. None out of the 376 employees were listed as COVID-19 positive. No employees were identified as contacts due to school exposure and none has been identified as a contact from outside exposure.

Thomas County Schools reported no COVID-19 positive students out of an enrollment of 5,791. The system also reported having one staff member out of 868 test positive for COVID-19.

Grady County Schools reported having four students with a positive COVID-19 test out of 4,470 total students as of November 19. Another 10 were quarantined for possible exposure. One of the 638 school employees had positive COVID-19 tests and none were quarantined.
