“I’m having my administrative staff get tested to make sure because they all have been in close proximity of each other,” he said.

While the Grady County Jail remains open, the jail lobby has been closed temporarily.

Singletary advises anyone needing to contact the office to either call or email them as daily operations will continue remotely.

“We’ll still be working our regular shifts and still respond to emergency calls of course, so none of that has been affected,” he said.
