Kaylee Barrett struck out 16 of the 19 batters she faced, and the Thomas County Central Lady Yellow Jackets rolled to two Region 1-AAAA softball routs Saturday, thumping Westover 19-0 and 16-0.

Sarah Stewart was 4-for-6 with two homers, a double and eight RBIs in the sweep. Emi Hobbs homered and drove in seven runs, going 4-for-4. Maddi Gossett added five RBIs in the two games, and Barrett had two RBIs.

Central (23-3) hosts Cairo on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. and hosts Tift County in a non-region game Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
