TCC softball team rolls to three straight wins

The Thomas County Central softball team is off to a blazing start, with wins in three games over the weekend to start the season.
Sarah Stewart and SJ Whigham each drove in two runs in a 7-3 win over Tift County.
Stewart went 4-for-5 with two homers and drove in five runs as Kaylee Barrett and Aly Morabito held Lovett to one hit in a 9-0 win.
Emi Hobbs was 2-for-3 in the win over Lovett.
Central finished its weekend with a 6-3 win over Wesleyan as
Hobbs hit a solo homer and Gabrial Miles, who was 2-for-3, picked up two RBIs. Stewart was 2-for-4 with two doubles and Maddie Gossett was 2-for-3.
Central visits Lee County on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. The Lady Jackets also go on the road Saturday to face Ware County and Morgan County, taking on the Lady Gators at 9:30 a.m. and the Lady Bulldogs at 11:30 a.m.
