CAIRO — A job fair will be held at the Grady Cultural Center on Wednesday, July 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

There will be job opportunities in law enforcement, medical, warehouse, factories and clerical.

Cairo City Council member Demario Byrden announced the job fair the council meeting on Monday night.

Taurus Holdings Inc, Archbold, Department of Juvenile Justice, Oil Dri and the Georgia Department of Health are among the businesses scheduled to be there, according to Byrden.

There also will be free health screenings for pulse rate, blood glucose and blood pressure.

The Grady Culture Center is located at 101 1st Street NW in Cairo.
