CAIRO — The Grady County courthouse will be closed on Friday, July 9, and Monday, July 12.

ABM will begin work on replacing the HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) system in the courthouse on Friday.

The work at the courthouse is part of an update on county buildings, which have seen new lights and new HVAC systems. The updates are being done to make the buildings more efficient.

County Administrator Buddy Johnson updated commissioners on the project during their meeting Tuesday morning.

The work at the courthouse will continue through the weekend.
