THOMASVILLE — TC Federal Bank announces that Dr. James R. Clanton, Jr. has retired from the company’s board of directors. Dr. Clanton (Jimmy) served on the board since 1999 and served as Corporate Secretary since 2011.

“Dr. Clanton’s spirit and wisdom leaves an indelible impression on TC Federal Bank that is woven into the cultural fabric of this institution,” said TC Federal Bank Chairman of the Board Stephanie B. Tillman. “We are deeply grateful for his contributions over the years and thank him for being an exemplary example of a servant leader.”

Dr. Clanton has faithfully and loyally served the interests of TC Federal Bank and its members for 22 years. He is widely known for his deep love for TC Federal Bank’s customers and employees. He has served as a role model for the bank’s board and staff through his example of humility and service to others, exhibiting Christian love and character in his actions.

TC Federal Bank awarded Dr. Clanton with the Servant’s Heart Award at the recent annual meeting. The coveted award, along with a tribute resolution officially adopted by the Board of Directors, was presented to Dr. Clanton by Tillman and Greg Eiford, president and CEO.
