TCC literary team takes second at region

- The Thomas County Central High School literary team placed second at the Region 1-AAAA meet and four members went to the Class AAAA state meet after their first-place finishes.
Thomas County Central High School placed second overall in the Georgia High School Association Region 1-AAAA Literary event. The competition occurred Saturday, April 17, at Westover High School in Albany. Several students placed in individual categories.
First-place winners advance to state competition, which was held Saturday, April 24, at Buford High School. Individual placers include:
