Archbold amends visitor policies

As Archbold continues to experience lower numbers of COVID-19 patients in their facilities, additional adjustments have been made to the visitor policies to better meet the needs of patients and their visitors.
Effective Saturday, April 17, the following visitor policies went into effect. Archbold is no longer limiting visitors 12 and younger from entering the hospitals, outpatient facilities and physician practices, but masks must be worn at all times. Archbold also discontinued temperature checks at entrances but still asks that anyone with a fever or cough refrain from entering the facilities.
At Archbold Memorial Hospital, all patients and visitors will be checked in by security to note a name and purpose for the visit. Access to the hospital will only be through the hospital Main Entrance and Emergency Department, with the Emergency Entrance used for the Emergency Department only.
