Archbold Medical Center announces it is scheduling COVID-19 vaccine appointments for community members ages 65 and older. Archbold had temporarily paused new appointments due to a state supply shortage of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Community members age 65 and older can schedule an appointment by calling Archbold’s COVID-19 vaccine call center at 229-584-SHOT. The call center is open Monday thru Friday from 8am to 12 pm. Appointments will be available starting March 1 on Monday and Wednesday, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Friday, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. An appointment is required to receive a vaccine; walk-ins for vaccines will not be accepted at this time.

The State of Georgia is still in Phase 1A+ of their vaccine distribution which includes: healthcare workers, long-term care staff and residents, adults 65 or older and their caregivers and first responders. Archbold understands that the community is eager to receive the vaccine and appreciates everyone’s patience during this time.
