Bulldogs fall to Valdosta in baseball scrimmage

VALDOSTA — Lamonte Lindon doubled and drove in two runs, and the Valdosta Wildcats came back to top Thomasville 4-2 Thursday in a preseason baseball game.
Gabe Duncan went two hitless innings on the mound for the Bulldogs, striking out three while walking just one. Four Bulldogs pitchers limited the Wildcats to three hits.
Valdosta’s pitchers held Thomasville to four hits, all singles. Isaac Richardson had one RBI, and Duncan and Witt Wetherington each scored a run as the Bulldogs grabbed a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning.
The Bulldogs will play at Seminole County on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
