CAIRO — A stolen truck that has made the rounds is impounded at the Grady County Sheriff’s Office.

The white Chevrolet Silverado — with an Arizona tag — was found by a deputy on routine patrol during predawn hours Sunday at Bethel Church on Bethel Road in Grady County.

A check of the tag and vehicle identification number showed the vehicle was stolen in Alabama.

Sheriff’s office Capt. Daniel Singletary, chief investigator, is working with Alabama authorities to determine who brought the truck to Georgia, who abandoned it at the church and why.

“No suspects have been identified at this time,” SIngletary said.

Anyone with information about the truck or who abandoned it at the church is asked to contact the sheriff’s office.
