COVID-19 update

THOMASVILLE — Archbold officials reported Tuesday that to date there have been 1,506 positive test results for COVID-19 across their system, with 93 deaths, since testing began March 11. There also have been 9.526 negative test results. 

There have been 547 people admitted to Archbold hospitals since testing started. Over the past week, the system has had 40 new positive test results and 383 new negative results. Nineteen people have been admitted to Archbold hospitals in the last week for COVID-19. The system has recorded one death from COVID-19 in the last week.

As of Tuesday, there were 15 COVID-19 positive patients at Archbold Memorial Hospital, five at Grady General Hospital, one at Mitchell County Hospital and no COVID-19 positive patients at Brooks County Hospital. There are no COVID-19 positive patients at Northside Center for Behavioral and Psychiatric Care.

Archbold also is reporting there is one COVID positive patients at Glenn-Mor Nursing Home. There are no COVID positive patients at either Pelham Parkway Nursing Home or Mitchell Convalescent Center.
