The Georgia Department of Public Health reports there have been 912 COVID-19 positive tests in Thomas County, with 39 deaths. There also have been 121 people to be hospitalized because of the novel coronavirus.

Statewide, there have been more than 182,000 confirmed positive tests for COVID-19, leading to 3,671 deaths in Georgia and 18,303 people being hospitalized.

The state has administered more than 1.5 million tests.
