The Georgia Department of Public Health reports there have been 902 COVID-19 positive tests in Thomas County, with 39 deaths. There also have been 117 people to be hospitalized because of the novel coronavirus.

Statewide, there have been more than 1785,000 confirmed positive tests for COVID-19, leading to 3,642 deaths in Georgia and 17,964 people being hospitalized.

The state has administered more than 1.5 million tests.
