The Georgia Department of Public Health reports there have been 850 COVID-19 positive tests in Thomas County, with 38 deaths. There also have been 110 people to be hospitalized because of the novel coronavirus.

Statewide, there have been more than 170,000 confirmed positive tests for COVID-19, leading to 3,509 deaths in Georgia and 17,138 people being hospitalized.

The state has administered more than 1.4 million tests.
