The Georgia Department of Public Health reports there have been 789 COVID-19 positive tests in Thomas County, with 37 deaths. There also have been 106 people to be hospitalized because of the novel coronavirus.

Statewide, there have been more than 156,000 confirmed positive tests for COVID-19, leading to 3,360 deaths in Georgia and 16,353 people being hospitalized.

The state has administered more than 1.3 million tests.
