The Georgia Department of Public Health reports there have been 591 COVID-19 positive tests in Thomas County, with 32 deaths. There also have been 82 people to be hospitalized because of the novel coronavirus.

Statewide, there have been more than 116,000 confirmed positive tests for COVID-19. leading to 3,001 deaths in Georgia and 13,259 people being hospitalized.

The state has administered more than 1.08 million tests.
