The Georgia Department of Public Health reports there have been 578 COVID-19 positive tests in Thomas County, with 32 deaths. There also have been 81 people to be hospitalized because of the novel coronavirus.

Statewide, there have been more than 111,000 confirmed positive tests for COVID-19. leading to 2,965 deaths in Georgia and 12,937 people being hospitalized.
