The Georgia Department of Public Health reports there have been 497 COVID-19 positive tests in Thomas County, with 32 deaths. There also have been 72 people to be hospitalized because of the novel coronavirus.

Statewide, there have been more than 95,000 confirmed positive tests for COVID-19. leading to 2,860 deaths in Georgia and 11,775 people being hospitalized.

The state has administered nearly 1.12 million tests.
