Thomas County COVID-19 cases up to 187

THOMASVILLE — The Georgia Department of Public Health reports there have been 187 COVID-19 positive tests in Thomas County, with 19 deaths. 

Archbold officials reported Friday that to date there have been 410 positive test results for COVID-19 across their system, with 44 deaths.

The health care system also has had a total of 1,321 negative test results. Of those who have tested positive, 303 are at home. There are 25 patients who have tested positive for the novel coronavirus at Archbold Memorial Hospital.

From its Pinetree Boulevard screening site, Archbold has had 157 total positive test results. There have been 642 negative test results from the Pinetree screening site. Those tested at the screening site and waiting on results will be notified by their primary care provider.

One patient at Brooks County Hospital has a positive test result. There are three patients at Grady General and nine at Mitchell County Hospital who have tested positive.

No resident at either Glenn-Mor Nursing Home or Mitchell Convalescent Center has tested positive. As of Thursday, there are 25 residents at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home classified as having a COVID-19 positive test result.
