City of Thomasville Utility crews, contractors, and CSX crews will begin work on the Susie Way rail crossing beginning on Monday May 4. Crews will be repairing the crossing and paving located on Susie Way between Smith Avenue and Metcalf Avenue. The work is expected to take place between the hours of 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. and is expected to last through Friday May 8. 

There will be a temporary road closure on Susie Way while the work is being completed. Travelers in the area are encouraged to exercise caution while utilizing the Metcalf Avenue and Smith Avenue detours, and to be aware of potential traffic delays.
