City of Thomasville Utility crews, contractors, and CSX crews will begin work on the South Pinetree Boulevard rail crossing beginning on Monday May 4. Crews will be repairing crossing, paving and drainage located on South Pinetree Boulevard between Fletcher Street and Woods Gate Lane. The work is expected to be between the hours of 8 a.m. and 7 p.m., and is expected to last through Friday May 8. 

There will be a temporary road closure on South Pinetree Boulevard while the work is being completed. Travelers in the area are encouraged to exercise caution while utilizing the Fletcher Street and South Martin Luther King Jr. Drive detours, and to be aware of potential traffic delays.
