Thomas County COVID-19 toll reaches 17

THOMASVILLE — The Georgia Department of Public Health reports there have been 167 COVID-19 positive tests in Thomas County, with 17 deaths.
Archbold officials reported Monday that to date there have been 392 positive test results for COVID-19 across their system, with 42 deaths.
The health care system also has had a total of 1,260 negative test results. Of those who have tested positive, 288 are at home. There are 29 patients who have tested positive for the novel coronavirus at Archbold Memorial Hospital.
From its Pinetree Boulevard screening site, Archbold has had 152 total positive test results. There have been 619 negative test results from the Pinetree screening site. Those tested at the screening site and waiting on results will be notified by their primary care provider.
No patient at Brooks County Hospital has a positive test result. There are three patients at Grady General and seven at Mitchell County Hospital who have tested positive.
No resident at either Glenn-Mor Nursing Home or Mitchell Convalescent Center has tested positive. As of Wednesday, there are 23 residents at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home classified as having a COVID-19 positive test result.
