Thomas now up to 78 COVID-19 cases

THOMASVILLE — The Georgia Department of Public Health reports there are 78 COVID-19 cases in Thomas County, with three deaths.
Archbold officials reported Monday that there have been 214 positive test results for COVID-19 across their system, with 22 deaths.
The health care system also has had 689 negative test results. Of those who have tested positive, 129 are at home and 28 are patients at Archbold Memorial Hospital, three fewer than who were hospitalized Friday.
There are 202 patients waiting at home on test results and 18 patients in Archbold Memorial Hospital awaiting results.
From its Pinetree Boulevard screening site, Archbold has had 81 positive test results. There have been 357 negative test results from the Pinetree screening site. Another 103 people from the screening site are waiting on test results, and they will be notified by their primary care provider.
No patient at Brooks County Hospital has a positive test result, and no patient at the hospital is waiting on a test result. There are five patients at Grady General who have tested positive and two others are waiting on results. Mitchell County Hospital has two patients with positive test results and no other patients there are waiting on test results.
No resident at either Glenn-Mor Nursing Home or Mitchell County Convalescent has tested positive or is waiting on test results. There have been 28 residents at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home to test positive and five others are waiting on results.
