About 300 electric customers from areas throughout the city were without power a little later Monday morning.
“Everybody was back on by 8 o’clock,” said Chris White, city utilities executive director.
Unincorporated Thomas County experienced scattered wind damage.
Four trees were downed in the Ochlocknee area, and a couple toppled near Pavo.
Thomas County public works removed trees that fell on roads.
“It was rather windy and a lot of debris on the roads, but we were lucky with the trees,” said Capt. Steven Jones, Thomas County Sheriff’s Office public information officer.
