Bulldogs edge Berrien

NASHVILLE — Three Thomasville pitchers combined to hold Berrien to four hits, and the Bulldogs, now 8-4, picked up a 5-3 road win Tuesday.
Gabe Duncan and Jacob Bradshaw each went 2-for-3, and Nathan Smith was 2-for-4. Harrison Stewart and Hurston Waldrep each added a double.
Five different hitters — Stewart, Duncan, Waldrep, Jay Thomas and Witt Wetherington — each drove in a run.
Bradshaw went the first five innings, allowing two runs on two hits. Duncan allowed one run on one hit while striking out two in one frame of work and Waldrep came on in the seventh to earn the save.
