A group of Thomas County Central High School budding scientists presented their experiments at ABAC Regional Science and Engineering Fair, held Friday, Feb. 14, at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton. These students won accolades in the school’s science fair earlier in the academic year and advanced to region competition.

TCCHS made a strong showing and collected several awards. Freshman Bishop Jackson won the overall senior division for his experiment, “Benign vs. Malignant.” Also, eight students qualified for state science fair: Bishop Jackson, Edjenee’ Corbin, Brooke Lancaster, Carina Johnson, Whitt Finch, Karsyn Bush, Campbell Smith and Hailey Atkinson. Cayla Martin is a state alternate.
