THOMASVILLE — J. Perry Mustian, president and Chief Executive Officer of Archbold Medical Center, recently announced his intent to retire following 20 years of service in Archbold’s regional health system.
Mustian has been working with the Archbold Medical Center Board of Trustees on succession planning, giving ample time to prepare for a transition of leadership.
The Board has established a search committee and has hired an executive search firm, Gallagher MSA Search.
Mustian has served as the president of both Archbold Memorial Hospital and Archbold Medical Center since July 2008. “We’ve started the process of searching for a new president and CEO,” said Rick Singletary, Archbold Medical Center board chairman. “We hope to have candidates interviewing onsite in early Spring, with a new leader in place later this year.”
Mustian’s last day at Archbold isn’t yet firm; rather, Mustian will continue to serve at the helm until a new president has transitioned into the role.
