THOMASVILLE — The Thomasville boys basketball team ran its Region 1-AA record to 3-0, sweeping a pair of region games over the weekend.

The Bulldogs rolled to a 66-45 win over Early County on the road Friday and then thumped Berrien 57-29 Saturday at home, running their record to 14-3 overall.

The Lady Bulldogs fell 65-46 to Early County as Makayla Timpson poured in 27 points for the Lady Bobcats, but bounced back to beat Berrien 64-47.

Thomasville will host Pelham at 6 p.m. on January 14 and host Fitzgerald on January 17 beginning at 6 p.m.
