THOMASVILLE — The marijuana joint in a cigarette pack that fell from a suspect’s car was the first of several drug finds in a Boston man’s vehicle, according to authorities.
Fenly Junior Gibson, 34, 598 Bernice Glen Road, told a narcotics agent the contraband was not marijuana.

“He said it was spice or synthetic marijuana,” said Louis Schofill, Thomas County/Thomasville Narcotics/Vice Division commander.
At the time of his arrest about 10 p.m. Sunday, Gibson was parked in front of a store at 10317 U.S. 84 East. Someone parked next to Gibson and saw him engaged in an act of self pleasure, according to Schofill.
A clerk in the store told a Thomas County Sheriff’s Office deputy, the first responding officer, Gibson had been parked at the store for more than an hour, the commander said. Gibson told the officer he had been parked at the business for 15 minutes.
A narcotics agent responded and found a bag of spice on the floor of the car and another bag of spice behind the front seat.
Agents also located a crystal meth smoking device that had crystal powder in it, the commander said.
Gibson is charged with public indecency/indecent exposure, two counts of possession of Schedule I and Schedule II controlled substances and possession of a drug-related object.
