The Cross Creek Elementary K-Kids Club is the Y.E.S. (Youth Environmental Stewardship) ambassador for Cross Creek. During the last Cross Creek Elementary K-Kids meeting, Candee Henderson from Keep Thomas County Beautiful came as a guest speaker to talk with the club about how to be better stewards of natural resources. Henderson also explained how each K-Kid can help the environment through litter pick up and recycling efforts that the K-Kids Club will take part in again this year.
