LIVE OAK, Fla. — An undercover “buy bust” operation led to the arrests of three individuals at Hulaween on Sunday at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park on drug trafficking charges.

In all, 16 people were arrested during the three-day music festival at the park, which draws more than 20,000 annually.

According to Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office reports, 37-year-old Steven Gonzalez, of Cocoa, Fla.; 34-year-old Cheyne Eric Gilstad, of Melbourne, Fla.; and 32-year-old Jacob Anthony Sclechta, of Palm Bay, Fla.; were arrested as part of the bust that turned up 9,542 ecstasy tablets, 1,635 LSD tablets, 955 oxycodone pills, 325 Xanax pills, 85 grams of Alpha-PVP, 16 grams of suspected DMT, four grams of heroin and less than 20 grams of cannabis.

The report states that around 6 p.m. Sunday, an undercover officer was taken to a campsite near the Patch Stage and 80 Acres campsite and overheard a drug deal taking place with Gilstad which led to members of the SCSO and Live Oak Police Department to converge on the area.

Gonzalez attempted to flee the scene and was seen attempting to discard himself of cocaine, spilling some on the ramp to the camper where the transaction had occurred, the report states.

Inside the camper were a large amount of U.S. currency, mainly $20 bills, a credit card machine, bags containing the drugs as well as miscellaneous paraphernalia.

The report states the MDMA weighed approximately nine pounds, while the LSD tablets weighed approximately seven grams and the oxycodone pills weighed 4.3 ounces.

According to the report, Gonzalez allegedly admitted to calling people over to the campsite to purchase drugs but did not take part in the transaction himself.

Gonzalez was charged with resisting officer/arrest — obstruct without violence, tamper with of fabricate physical evidence, traffic oxycodone, distribute marijuana, traffic amphetamine or methamphetamine, traffic LSD, traffic heroin, traffic in controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell/manufacture/deliver.

Gilstad was charged with traffic LSD, traffic oxycodone, traffic heroin, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell/manufacture/deliver, possession of a structure or vehicle known to traffic drugs, sell methamphetamine, traffic amphetamine or methamphetamine, traffic in controlled substance, distribute marijuana and commit a felony with a weapon.

The report states Gilstad told authorities he had a firearm in his truck for protection while at Hulaween.

During the bust Sclechta was detained and was found to have additional drugs on him, which matched the packaging on the drugs found in the camper.

Sclechta was charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell/manufacture/deliver, traffic heroin, distribute marijuana, traffic amphetamine or methamphetamine, commit a felony with a weapon, traffic oxycodone, traffic LSD, possess a structure or vehicle known to traffic drugs and traffic in controlled substance.

Others arrested at the festival included Jonas Ruiz (battery on law enforcement officer, resisting with violence), Phillip Vanderhorst (unlawful distribute nitrous oxide, possession and/or use of drug paraphernalia, inhale/ingest harmful chemicals), Kai Cook (possess concentrated THC, possess amphetamine, possess LSD), Trey Poehlman (possessesion of controlled substance), John Pfeilstickr (unlawful distribute nitrous oxide, possession of controlled substance, possession and/or use of drug paraphernalia), Liliana Matleen-Ortiz (unlawful distribute nitrous oxide, possession of controlled substance, possession and/or use of drug paraphernalia), Cameron Fall (possession of controlled substance), Colbye O’Neil (possession of controlled substance, possession of cocaine), Erika Conner (possession of cocaine, possession of controlled substance), Glenn Sanchez (possession of controlled substance), James River (unlawful distribute nitrous oxide, possession and/or use of drug paraphernalia), Anthony Clark (traffic amphetamine or methamphetamine, marijuana possession with intent to sell/manufacture or deliver, unlawful distribute nitrous oxide, tamper with or fabricate physical evidence, resisting officer/arrest without violence, possession and/or use of drug paraphernalia) and Ernest Davis (traffic amphetamine or methamphetamine, marijuana sell, tamper with or fabricate physical evidence, simple battery on law enforcement officer, resisting officer/arrest with violence, unlawful distribute nitrous oxide).
