Miss Boston Pageant to be held Saturday

BOSTON — Timeless Southern Charm is the theme for this year’s Miss Boston Pageant scheduled for Saturday in the multi-purpose room at Hand-in-Hand Primary School, at 4687 84 Bypass West, Thomasville.
Jennifer Jarvis, program services director of the Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce, will serve as mistress of ceremonies. She will welcome reigning queens, who will crown the 2019 winners in each category: Wee Miss Carlie Smith, Jr. Little Miss Sydney Faye Butler, Little Miss Ava Rich, and Miss Boston Taylor Culpepper. There are no contestants in the Jr. Miss category.
The contestant lineup includes:
• Wee Miss – Amari Barnes, Caroline Rae Baunoch, Ellie Reese Butler, Laynee Jack Exum, Londyn Williams
• Jr. Little Miss – Carson Raleigh Baunoch, Avah Su Brown, Lyla Frances Searcy, Rollins Lane Wear
• Little Miss – Ashlynn Isabella Baunoch, Sydney Faye Butler, Rilyn McLeod
• Jr. Miss – Savannah Lee Ward, Katybeth Willis
• Miss – Eden Ashlee Jones, Sha’daja Jones, Courtlen McCullers
“This is the 40th annual Boston Mini-Marathon and Festival. In commemoration, we are planning an extra-special pageant,” said Christine Welsh, pageant co-chairman,
Miss Boston Pageant is a production of the Boston Community Club.
“Each contestant is a winner, and we want everyone to come out to support your favorite one,” said Hannah Maddox, pageant co-chairman.
Tickets are $8 each. Children 3 and under will be admitted at no charge.
